Not long ago I had a health scare that made me rethink about my art and my legacy. I was wondering what was going to happen to it all if I did actually become deceased. I did a bit of soul-searching and decided that maybe one of the best things that I could do is reach out to museums nationally and internationally. Eventually I started to get responses back from some museums. Many said that there is a waiting list for reviews while others said that I wouldn't be suitable for their collection. There were others however that actually accepted my work and I was very grateful because if anybody knows anything about museums they would know how to preserve my work. Not just that, art is meant to inspire others. What better way then to have it on display in a museum. So I counted my lucky stars that I was able to connect with the handful of museums under the circumstances. Sometimes we just don't know how much time we have here on this earth but I'm glad I was able to connect with these folks and have the peace of mind that I needed for the time being. If the universe allows it or all the powers that be, I hope and pray to have many years ahead of me to make more art while I'm alive.
